We all recognize the need for exchange of ideas for healthy discussions, then why should we be silent?

The managing team of Generation Next feels enthusiastic and proud when it hears from its readers. Since the beginning, we have touched upon the surface of few issues facing the South Asian community. We have exposed the tip of the iceberg; the vast body is still submerged, hidden below the surface, away from our eye. We have invested more hours and hard work in uncovering the issues of the South Asian community, its young and the old. We are still seeking the bright, intellectual, mature people among us to bestow their words of wisdom upon us. The pages of Generation Next still wait to hear from the public, to bring their concerns and issues to the forefront.

We have provided a platform to discuss the issues. It’s for the entire South Asian community, a community that has diverse faces and unique needs and values. The impression is that perhaps people are shifting from print to electronic mode to read about their concerns. However turning to the pages of a magazine or a newspaper is still relevant and looking at visuals on these pages an effective way of informing and transforming views and opinions. Print media remains the most reliable and credible way of getting information and expressing views.

However it is indeed a two-way-street. We need responses and suggestions from our readers. We encourage and we welcome with open arms, the diverse opinions, the thoughts and originality from you.
